A whimsical attitude characterizes his work, which is inspired by African, Aztec and Egyptian imagery as well as contemporary pop culture. Each piece is personally hand-made using clay, which is fired sometimes up to five times to achieve the desired look, with a variety of coloured glazes being applied, including a 22K gold glaze.
